A dollar store birdhouse turned into a Halloween tree house! Most items are free from the forest! With some skeletons from Michaels and misc craft from the dollar store I think this turned out awesome. A tealight will be added to the back to give a nice glow inside the house.

Lego night light.

Nautical designs are my favorite. Should just stick to them.

Discovering mod podge even though it's existed forever is a new fun challenge. I love the old movie poster and going to be working on many more. Making it not perfect gives it an old vintage feeling.

Bradley had this idea for an SS. Minnow sign. Hanging it with nautical rope finished the look.

Next moved on to fishing signs

The colors on this one turned out well together. And using rusty old nails for hooks created a vintage look.

So Bradley and I started making some signs using pallet boards. A great cheap way to create unique art in your own style. All we did was glue the boards together with wood glue, paint them in either acrylic or latex paint. Using stencils you can create anything.
The first one we did was the mermaid. It's not perfect but it's just the beginning.

Paper cut mermaid, vintage style, sits on a clam shell nicely. If you layer the ocean cut outs in the background, you get a nice underwater glow. This mermaid was found doing a google image search and same for the bath sign.
